Since the beginning we have always believed that the best way to really understand the needs of our customers is to engage with them and to collaborate together in the design and development of our technical club kit. All our technical garments have been developed in collaboration with national teams and their athletes. The greatest example is the all-in-one; in 1980 DiBi was the first European company to develop the concept of the all-in-one rowing suit in partnership with Thor Nilsen and Giuseppe di Capua from the Italian National Team. The new designs were tested and worn by Giuseppe and Carmine Abbagnale during their Olympic wins in 1984 and 1988. More recently Di-Bi was the first company to introduce gilets into rowing; the garment was first designed in 1996 with the help of the Italian LW 2X (Marco Audisio & Michelangelo Crispi) and it was worn by the Italian National Team at the Olympic Games in Atlanta.
These partnerships enable us to provide all our customers with World class kit and it’s a great way to help athletes reduce training and competitive expenses.

Atlantic Jack
DiBi sponsored Atlantic Jack in their successful crossing of the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Atlantic Rowing Race 2007. Visit www.extremerowing.com to read more about the race and the team. We designed and developed personalised high quality water- and wind-proof jackets to withstand the harsh weather conditions faced by the crew during their crossing.
